Please phrase your answers in the form of a question :)
(But you are correct, he does.  I had one bounced in his court
because of that and had to re-do it on his form, with the identical
information).

Chapter 13 questions for the judges

Judicial variance regarding family contributions to the chapter 13 plan. Local rules are very clear about what documentation is required to show the contributor can make the contributions. However, there is an opinion by one of our judges that requires an intrusive level of scrutiny into the contributors financial condition, especially when there is a creditor objecting. Im talking about an evidentiary hearing where the contributor is required to show up for cross exam. Getting paid for that level of work in contested case that requires contribution is impossible. Even if the plan is confirmed there is not enough to pay the attorney fees. I doubt I will take on another chapter 13 under these circumstances. I keep track my time on such a case and I basically came away with 10 cents on the dollar.

Dear Listmates,
On May 3 I sent out the following message:
Judge Houle, Aki, and I will be doing the October cdcbaa presentation. We plan to discuss the Chapter 13 plan (which is being revised yet again), the order confirming the plan, and getting paid in a Chapter 13 case. During our first chat Judge Houle said he would poll his fellow judges, and asked me to solicit questions from you all (no, Im not from the South, but I did live there for a few years) on these three topics. What would you like to know about judicial variance, or indeed anything about the judges
No one responded. Judge Houle asked me to send out another request for Chapter 13 topics on judicial variance. Please send me your input so I can forward it to him.
Thanks,
