Dear Listmates,
Any input on this is very appreciated. Client grew up in her moms house. Moved out about 15 years ago. However, in 2014 mom refinanced and used her name. Thus, the house was transferred to Client at that time. It was transferred back to the mom last year. She never paid mortgage, nor lived there other than growing up as a child.
I was about to file her case on the theory of bare, legal title when I see that she has been claiming the rents on the property in her last few years of taxes. HALT!
Now, I am thinking its too risky to file a chapter 7.
Your thoughts?
Thanks ahead of time.
