Joint Chapter 13, we're coming up on Final Report time. One of debtors has expired during the plan's term.
The Application for Entry of Discharge requires both debtors to sign.
This was a lien-strip case (remember those?), so there will be additional signatures needed post-discharge.
What is the procedure for the end-of-case paperwork to be tied up neatly where only one debtor spouse reached the finish line?
I imagine a "hardship discharge" might apply, as it's a hardship to sign while being dead, but there must be an easier way.
