Student Loans and NYT article

I discussed the issues of Student Loans with a columnist for the New York Times this morning.
He is looking for some Student Loan stories to demonstrate how difficult it is to achieve a discharge in a BK court.
If anyone is interested, this can offer some national exposure to a issue many of our Clients are attempting to deal with on a daily basis. I have cut and paste a snippet of his background for the article:
"I'm actually focusing on factor 2 of the Brunner test in my story - the so-called "certainty of hopelessness" standard. I'm trying to find 2-3 cases that could help illustrate the difficulty of this - perhaps one where someone who was not disabled nonethless managed to get over the "hopeless" bar and achieve at least partial discharge - and then 1-2 others that sure seemed hopeless yet were unable to clear the bar in court. I'm well aware of the challenges in bringing these cases, given the amount of paper that lenders push on attornies representing the debtors, who the lenders know have few resources with which to pay the lawyers who need to respond to all of the lenders' briefs.

Are there any recent cases that people are talking about in your area? Any idea how I could find the lawyers in California that have done more of this from the consumer/borrower side than any other?

His contact email is : "Ron Lieber" .
