Serving a Person in County Jail

In Orange County, you take the documents to the designated Orange County Sheriffs office (in OC it is in Santa Ana) where you complete their service form, pay a fee to the sheriff and they will serve the person in jail for you and eventually provide you with a proof a service. I suspect other counties have a similar procedure.
