Dear Listmates,
One of my clients was being garnished by the IRS prior to a bankruptcy filing we just did for her. All of my normal contacts for the IRS are not responding due to the government shutdown. Does anyone have the contact of an IRS agent that is still working during the government shutdown where I can send notice of the bankruptcy to ensure that an active wage garnishment ceases due to the pending bankruptcy?
