Sanctions against Ocwen

My learned colleague Nick Gebelt's blog post on Ocwen is 100% on point. And the bankruptcy judges in this District are well aware of Ocwen's ongoing pattern of misbehavior. Do not be afraid to take them on with a Motion for OSC re contempt for violation of the discharge or a confirmed Plan. Our firm had success in two cases bringing Ocwen to the attention of the Court for violation of a confirmed (Chapter 11) Plan. For sample pleadings, see cases 8:10-bk-20943-ES and 2:12-bk-49322-BR.
