Bench Bar Subcommittee on Flat Fees For Supplemental Ch13 Work

Dear Colleagues!
The Court has established a Bench/Bar Subcommittee on Flat Fees for Supplemental Ch13 Work. This involves the possibility of imposing a flat fee schedule district-wide on all common Chapter 13 legal work including: Responses to RFS Motions, Motion to Value, Response to TMDs &MOMODS. The goal of the Court is to see if a flat fee schedule can be agreed upon and imposed on the debtor bar to streamline the Ch13 Supplemental Fee Application process.
As announced at cdcbaa's membership meeting last Saturday, Chapter 13 Trustee Counsel, Aki Koyama, will chair this Subcommittee. If you would participate on this extremely important Subcommittee and provide your input and experience, please contact Aki at akoyama@latrustee.com.
