NC - and debtor cashing out stock during chapter 13

Does NC require a turnover of funds if the Debtor cashes out stock during
the course of the Debtor's chapter 13? The stock was worthless when the
case was filed, but increased in value significantly. It was not exempted
because debtor had to use 704s.
