Yup, that worked. Distracted by the wrong event code. Thanks all.

This is what you need to file an emergency chapter 11 petition:
(A) Voluntary Petition (Official Form B1);
(B) List of Creditors Holding 20 Largest Unsecured Claims (Official Form B4)
(C) Master Mailing List of Creditors in format required by section 2.3 of this Court Manual (when filing electronically, the List of Creditors MUST ALSO be uploaded in text (.txt) format after filing the petition);
(D) Statement of Social Security Number(s) (Official Form B21) (required if the debtor is an individual); and
(E) Electronic Filing Declaration (only for electronically filed petitions).
My guess is that you forgot the mailing matrix in .txt format.
Otherwise, I would suggest doing it old school. Log into cm/ecf using your atty[bar#] id and login. Then click bankruptcy, open voluntary bankruptcy case.

ECF is asking me for a text file of "case information," and my software (Bankruptcy 2014) has not generated anything that looks like this. There is nothing in the list of documents to file (chapter 11) that alludes to this document. I can't get the filing to take until I have something that ECF will accept, and right now I'm hung up on this. Does anyone have an example of the "case information" file that I'm supposed to be filing?

You are not referring to a .txt file are you? If so that is just the creditor list created by your program.

Mark, that's a great suggestion. Unfortunately, it doesn't work - the program won't let me go forward until it recognizes the debtor information.

I don't know for sure, but perhaps it's referring to the statistical summary list, but that shouldn't be required. You need the petition, matrix and list of creditors (20 largest and full mailing list, as separate files). And that's it. You don't even need the verification of mailing matrix according to the website.
I've actually never filed an emergency petition before using
ECF, so never had to do this.
My suggestion (unless someone else has the actual answer) is to
create a text file in your word processing program that just
says "Case information unknown--to be supplemented/amended
later" and upload that to get past the ECF hangup.
That's what I would do...
HTH,
Mark

Hello all:
I am trying to file a skeleton case before midnight Sunday. I have the petition, the address matrix, the list of 20 largest creditors - in short, everything that the website tells me I need to file.
