I have had a similar situation, but in a Chapter 7. I filed motion for waiver of the 2nd course.

A debtor in a pending Chapter 13 Case post confirmation passes away. Life
insurance pays debtor. We contacted the Trustee's office who gave us a pay
off amount for a 100% plan. We sent the money in. There is no joint
debtor to sign certification of completion of plan and request for
discharge. There is not way joint debtor can complete the 2nd course? Do
I just do a motion for hardship discharge with full payment and request
waiver of financial management certificate? anyone have experience with
this?
