I sign reaffs when it is in the best interest of my client. You have not discussed any facts with which I can evaluate if you should sign. If it is a guar on mom's home, it may be in clients best interest for you to sign. Most of us, who still have parents living, would want to make sure Mom has a home. But, I ask my client what they want and get some directions in writing.

I wouldn't hesitate to sign a reaffirmation agreement because I would only
do it after careful analysis. You just need to dot your i's and cross your
t's otherwise you've readied yourself for a 9011 sanction.
Sincerely,

I generally won't sign off unless the value of the property is greater than
the amount owed and the Schedule I minus Schedule J is positive.
Even then I am hesitant.

I have my first reaffirmation on a mobile home mortgage on my desk.
I'm not sure whether to sign it. I know it's personal property, but the
mobile home is probably worth less than the mortgage.
If anyone who signs or refused to sign these can throw in a few lines
I'd appreciate it.
