PNC is an attorney with sanctions against him

He is a good guy with a heart of gold and represents civil lit clients with no money. Over the course of a few cases there have been discovery violations sanctions and one case with a "bad behavior" sanction. These are all payable to opposing counsel. Can attorney file BK and have these discharged? I am out of the office but do not recall all the exceptions under 523. Thanks.
