If you have it, please forward agent for service of process information for
Mortgage Electronic Registration Systems, Inc., a DE corporation. Thanks.

(BTW -- there appear to be two DE corporations of the same exact name. The
CA corp has been suspended.)

Has anyone here used MERS (Mortgage Electronic Registration System) to
find the TRUE owner of a trust deed? Apparently you can get the
owner in two different ways. If you have the 18-digit MIN (Mers ID
No.-put onto the 1st page of any recorded TD in the MERS system)) or
the Debtor's SSN, you can either call the MERS Voice Recognition Unit
at 888-679-6377-24-7, input the MIN or the SSN and get the name &
phone number of the current trust deed servicer. Or they have a help
desk 8am to 8pm EST (888-680-6377) with the borrower's name and/or
property address to get the same information. And MERS itself is the
nominee for all MERS-registered TDs.
This information might help with those judges who demand APs instead
of LAM motions.
