Judge Delays In Ruling on Submitted Matter

Issue: Central District BK Judge has failed to rule on a matter he took under submission over four months ago on contested matter.
Facts: Have called Judge's clerk to inquire on status of ruling several times; she states he is very busy but is aware of it. Opposing counsel does not want to write a joint letter to the Judge to urge him to rule. Court motion is a possibility, but want to avoid it. Cannot find any authority compelling judge to rule quickly. Matter concerns release of at least $150,000 to my client.
Any suggestions?
