Pat,
Chexsystems is an organization banks use to report NSF and other fraudulent
activity to one another for purposes of preventing future losses where one
has already been caused.
Best advice is to have debtors settle up at the bank they got overdrawn on
and beg and plea that they be taken off Chexsystems as part of the
settlement. To my knowledge, you cannot compel this cooperation.
