Is there any reason to prepare a written statement of the circumstances of client taking a $32,000 cash advance 5 1/2 mos. before filing Ch 7? Weinstein and Riley are offering him a stipulation for the whole sum or a 1 time cash settlement for $20,000 (which he can't do). Or just let them file the 523(a)?
Client was a day trader living off stocks whenthe market started going bad. He used up all savings, kept thinking he'd make it back, didn't, made a payment or2 on the cash adv,
and now worksas a theater usher. Has nothing but 2 old cars paid for, worth maybe $10,000.
Thanks,
Vicki
