fee disclosure

I disclose the total amount paid, including that for fees and that for costs.
Remember, in addition, on the statement of financial affairs, if your client has paid for others' services, such as a tax consultant or a loan modifier, list those as being for debt counseling. If the client has been overcharged for those services, has paid without receiving a satisfactory result or even a result within expectations of the contract, disclosure here could trigger the right to seek disgorgement by the OUST. I had this conversation today in court with a member of the OUST. It's one thing for the OUST to fight BPPS, but only with disclosure of fees paid to others can them.
