Minority interest in real estate held with multiple partners.

The debtor owns 3-5% interest in a half dozen homes with anywhere from a dozen to 50 other partners.
What is the exemption status of this?
Does the debtor need to get an appraisal of the sale value of his interest(s) in the partnership?
Do the partnership assets need to go on Schedule A?
