First, I would consider writing a formal letter to the Trustee asking the Trustee to conclude the 341a Meeting. Second, the Trustees, even if they "think" there may be an asset can concludethe hearing. If they don't respond, each Trustee has a supervising attorney at the UST's office. I had Mr. Whitmore in Riverside keep one open for about 5 months and when I wrote the letter, he filed his no asset report. I've had others in which I've called the UST. They don't like cases beingopen indefinetely and actually called the Trustee to ask why the 341a had not been concluded and guess what,it was concluded. Also, since it's June, the Trustee's ALL have to complete their 180 days reports to the UST soyou will see Trustee's taking action in cases to close them, move them along, etc. as they have to report on each case to the UST by the end of the month. Hope that helps.

Subject: [cdcbaa] what to do with trustee who has not filde NDR for over 3 months
Dear Listmates,
I have a ch7 trustee who has not filed NDR for a client who had a 341a meeting for over 3 months ago without providing any good reasons. I called the trustee's office and was told that the case is still under review.
