LOS ANGELED SELF HELP DESK E-MAIL TREE

Fellow Colleagues:
The Board of CDCBAA is setting up a pilot project involving an inclusive e-mail "tree" exclusively for the LA HELP DESK. This e-mail tree is to offer rapid advise and assistance to the volunteer attys at the LA Help Desk. I believe that their hours of operation are Mondays and Wednesdays from 10:00 to 2:00 pm. The volunteer attorneys (specifically Maggie Boudeaux) will be sending out an e-mail on this mini-listserv so that we can answer their specific questions when they have clients in front of them that offer a challenging or new fact pattern. Generally speaking, the LA HELP DESK will be assisting pro se debtors that have very basic needs.
Please note that this e-mail tree is separate from CDCBAA's main listserv.
I am requesting that our EXPERIENCED CONSUMER ATTYS sign-up to be on this e-mail tree so that we can offer this incredibly valuable serve to the LA HELP DESK. I am asking that attorneys with at least 8 years of experience consider this opportunity to offer quick pro bono assistance.
