Subject: [cdcbaa] Interest rate on hard-money loan in Chapter 11 plan
Gentlemen:
Has any of you established the appropriate interest rate to pay a hard-money
lender through a Chapter 11 plan of reorganization (collateral is real
property and loan only encumbers about half of its current market value)?
The current rate for hard-money loans for a person in my client's industry
segment is 12 to 15%.
