Subject: [bank-sub-committee] Online Training
FYI -- At some point in the not-too-distant future (watch for the public
announcement), there will be an online training module for CM/ECF. This
means no more having to register for and attend an in-person class in order
to become a registered CM/ECF user for the Bankruptcy Court for the Central
District of California. You will be able to go to the website and walk
yourself through a web-based training program. If you successfully complete
that, you will be assigned a user number and will be able to use CM/ECF (and
therefore LOU as well). This also means, once this module is up and
running, there will be no more excuses when a judge asks you why you aren't
filing things electronically or uploading orders through LOU.
We'll keep you posted!
