Quick note . . .
Bobby Wilbert, a fellow NACBA member, tipped me off to something
that is tremendously useful.
That is, if you are stuck in a contract with Sprint for cell phone
service and want to get out without paying an early termination fee.
Sprint has raised internal administrative fees to 0.99 per month.
Anyone under contract with Sprint can leave the carrier without
paying termination fees.
Two catches:
1. You can cancel without getting hammered with the ETF if you do
it by January 31, 2009.
AND
2. You need to call Sprint and ask specifically about the rate hike.
So if you hate Sprint and want to jump ship, you've got only a few
days left before the window closes.
Best regards,
Jay
