HOA Lien Foreclosure

Dear Group:
A client is facing a foreclosure sale date of 2/13/09 based on an HOA lien that was recorded a few months ago.
Question: Does the HOA lien have priority over the 1st and 2nd TDs because of association covenants that run with the land? Or is it in third place after the 1st and 2nd? Any other tips regarding these facts are appreciated.
