Objection to Claim - new pleading?

this is all pervasive, now we need motions to approve disclosure statements and plans. This appears to be a change to accommodate someone's belief all orders have to be requested by a motion. It is just extra paperwork.al public.

I was talking to Lynn from Price the other day and she mentioned that the
moving papers for objecting to a Proof of Claim in a Chapter 13 are no
longer Objection to Claims, but a "Motion for Order Disallowing Claim of
___" or something similar. Substantively, it didn't seem to be different;
just the name on the pleading and some basics. She wasn't aware if this was
only Valley division or what prompted the change. Has anyone heard anything
else about this and can they elaborate? Did I miss a memo?

Yes, the name was changed per the local rules to accommodate efiling
requirements.
