Thanks so much for contributing information like this--I started doing
BKs in 1981 and whenever these kinds of problems came up you just had
to ask everyone you could think of for the answer and hope they were
right.
Luckily most of the experts were in the Federal Bldg cafeteria looking
at their beepers.

I think this was discussed at last month's meeting. The issue is really
semantic, but makes a difference when you try to upload an order after the
hearing. Anything not entitled "Motion..for something" doesn't get a docket
entry in LOU. If you file an "Objection to Claim" and the court grants it,
when you go to upload your order, there is no corresponding event to tie the
order to, and you are in "Order Limbo", forever. It happened to me on a
couple of matters earlier this year. If you entitle most of your pleadings
"Motion .for something" you avoid the problem. I had this come up twice
with "applications" I filed to approve stipulations on reverse notice as
allowed by the Local Rules. After filing my declaration that no timely
opposition was received, I couldn't upload the LOU orders, because there was
no event to tie it to. Lou apparently only recognizes things called
"Motions".
