As most of my 7s and 13s are loaded with IP as I am sure yours are, I have
attached is a recent article on the intersection of BK and IP law that you
might find useful.
I am trying to learn such things because the Bankruptcy Inn of Court and the
Intellectual Property Inn are having a joint meeting this coming Monday in
which we will be addressing these issues. For those of you who are not
members of the Inn, you should consider joining. You will learn practical
legal skills and also get a chance to meet and interact with judges,
trustees, private and government lawyers (including UST attys and judges
clerks) and law students who are active in the bankruptcy courts and
environs.
If you have any questions or concerns, please contact your favorite IP
lawyer or Brett Curlee (who is in with the Inn crowd and goes where the Inn
crowd goes).
