I have been on different list serves. This one is the most
businesslike and practical of all of them. The advice is immediately
useful and quickly given. When I practiced BK before the list serve,
and something like this happened to me --we couldn't figure out what
we did wrong. Bankruptcy is the only practice where the attorney is
personally responsible for errors and where a judge can order you to
disgorge fees.
So it is helpful to know whether only your office is making mistakes
or whether a trustee's office or clerk's office is making mistakes
and yours is one of many.
Also now I know enough to bring the transmittal letters and an extra
copy of the tax return to the 341 (a), and I can state that on the
record. We all profit from the experience of others.
