Subject: [cdcbaa] 11 USC 109(a)
i'm not finding any cases that interpret the term "domicile" for
bankruptcy qualification purposes, can anyone point me in the right
direction?
second totally academic question just for fun:
the statute reads
Notwithstanding any ofher provision of this section, only a person
that resides or has a domicile ... in the United States, or a
municipality, may be a debtor under this title.
Why include "a municipality". I can see "or the territories and
possessions thereof" or something like that, but municipality strikes
me as odd.
Thank you all
