Nope. I have noticed that over the years and even brought it to the
attention of a few legislators with no effect.

Subject: [cdcbaa] Exemption of Back Child Support Due when using CCP 704
exemptions
Prospective debtor is blessed to have equity in home and needs to use CCP
704 exemptions. Prospective debtor has back child support due, at least some
of which might be collectable. I am looking at the 704 exemptions and due
not see anyt language similar to CCP 703.140(b)(5)or even remotely related
to support payments. Is there any applicable exemption available I am
missing?
