We have discussed the concept of setting up a mentor - mentee program where a few "newbies" would be assigned to a mentor. The mentee would have someone to ask questions and have lunch or breakfast once a month or something like that. We are going to discuss this at the board meeting again this Saturday.
If you are interested in being a mentor or mentee, please send Pat Green and I an email so we can see what we are dealing with.
Also, a month or so ago we had a number of persons volunteer to help with different things. If you are interested in helping with the programs, the newsletter, the website, appeals or something else, please send Pat and I an email. We can have non-board members join committees or set up ad hoc groups.
