Greetings fellow cdcbaa members,
This year I am the president of the Whittier Bar Association. In that capacity I arrange the speakers for our monthly meetings. The speaker for our February 9 meeting is the well-known celebrity attorney, Mark Geragos, who will discuss: "Using the Media as an Asset to Your Practice."
While the topic is not directly related to the practice of consumer bankruptcy law, it occurred to me that some of you might find it entertaining to hear Mr. Geragos. You never know, some day you might have a case in which using the media would help your client.
I promise not to use the listserve for future notices of this sort, but I thought that Mr. Geragos's fame might warrant a one-time exception.
I have attached the flyer for the meeting. If you are interested in attending, please respond by February 2 (the country club's kitchen needs a week to make the preparations) by email, fax, or phone with your menu choice and number of people (you're free to bring a spouse or significant other). I apologize for the short notice, but I was so focused on the Whittier Bar membership that I forgot to let our illustrious cdcbaa membership know of this special talk. Thanks for your indulgence.
I hope some of you can make it.
All the best,
Nick
