Chapter 15

I have a Canadian client who now resides in California. He is the subject of a
Canadian bankruptcky.
His Canadian bankruptcy lawyer says he need only tofile a motion here in the
United States to make the United States debts go away in Canada and in theUnited States.
Does this client really just need to file a new bankruptcy petition here to get
the issue before a U S Bankruptcy Court, or is it something else?
Anyone on this list ever do a chapter 15?
