My practice (not necessarily best practice, but it's what I do):
1. Give notice by letter enclosing the official notice of commencement and if chapter 13 notice of plan, dates etc has gone out, send that too
2. Add to our mailing list.
3. Do not amend Schedule F unless and until there is another reason to do so (if so, $26 fee to add creditors).
Other practice comments welcome!

Original creditor was listed on schedule F. The collector (for that
original creditor) had not made itself known until after filing and
therefore was not listed on schedule F. Now, after filing, the collector
has sent a letter to the debtor.
1. What are the debtor's obligation with respect to this new collector of
properly scheduled debt? Clearly sending the official notice of the case is
necessary.
2. I would argue that, with the proper notice of the bankruptcy case, the
collector can request to be added to the creditor matrix and receive all
case notices? Do you think it is necessary to amend schedule F to add the
new collector?
