filing a bankruptcy with power of attorney

I have a client that has a power of attorney from mother with clear language authorizing him to file bankruptcy and handle all her financial affairs. The mother suffers from alzheimers and is mentally incapacitated. Do I have to to do anything extra besides having the son sign with the power of attorney and giving a copy of the POA to the trustee?
Thanks in advance.
