Subject: [cdcbaa] What do pro per debtors need to file?
As some of you know, Barry and I are teaching a consumer bankruptcy clinic
at Loyola Law School. All the clients are coming in to sign their paperwork
and I would like to provide them with a cover sheet of what to do to get
their case filed.
The courts are closed today so I cannot call them to confirm and it has been
years since we filed anything at the window.
Aside from the obvious filing fee, or waiver application, does anyone know
what is required to get their case filed (i.e., how many copies of the
petition they should bring)?
Any info would be appreciated and I apologize for asking such a basic
question.
