Bad Divorce - Attorneys Fees

PNC (with over median) income just completed a bad divorce (with a bad
outcome) and owes he family law attorney about $40,000, along with a big IRS
bill, some credit card debt, and a significant contribution to her
attorneys fees.
Is the bill to his lawyer consumer debt?
