If it is a properly executed lien, I do not see how it could be
avoided. Neither can the PI attorney's lien be avoided. Relating to
522(f), the lien on the PI settlement is not a judicial lien and the
PI settlement is not one of the assets deliniated under section
522(f)(1)(B).

Hi Everyone,
Does anyone know if a PI medical lien against a debtor's PI
settlement can be avoided in Ch. 7 bk? Debtor has claimed an exemption
for $8,500 PI settlement but their is a medical lien against some of
this settlement.
Thanks!!

Hi Everyone,
Does anyone know if a PI medical lien against a debtor's PI settlement can be avoided in Ch. 7 bk? Debtor has claimed an exemption for $8,500 PI settlement but their is a medical lien against some of this settlement.
Thanks!!
