Yahoo Groups Website Shutdown --- potentially this

Thank you, Tuan. The way I read it, Yahoo Groups is not shutting down,
but not allowing the upload of new content. The list of things going
away is under the help page link below: files, polls, attachments, etc
(noteworthy: it does include "conversations" but I think that's a Yahoo
feature that allows you to see threads of messages). Technically, a
message /is/ content. But I don't read any of that as saying the Yahoo
Groups will no longer allow posting of messages.
Regardless, under the leadership of our president, Roksana, and the hard
work, time and efforts of board member Marcus Tiggs and others, the
CDCBAA has spent much of the past year migrating our website in a huge
revamp to give it a new shiny look. Part of that process (ok a lot of
it) is under the hood, and is to wean ourselves off Yahoo Groups.
CDCBAA's new website structure includes a message board (or message
forum) feature that is intended to replace Yahoo.
I don't know the timeline for CDCBAA's message migration and can't say
when it will be complete and defer to others for those details. But
we're aware of the Yahoo changes and we have a plan to replace Yahoo to
minimize the impact of their scaling back.
