My clients are pretty much going through the motions and plowing through it when taking credit counseling. My experience is that credit counsellors have no idea about So Cal's cost of living. I do a far better job reviewing budget expenditure issues with my clients than credit counseling.

Why even put it in the budget for credit counseling? I have zero faith in the value of prepetition credit counseling courses.
