Filing Fee Waiver

There is a form on the court website and pretty good instructions.
From your facts, the waiver will be granted. You have to send the
client to court with the forms. The clerk will send the client to
some courtroom and the judge will either sign the order allowing the
filing without a fee or not. I would faint if the judge would waive
the fees if the client is paying an attorney anything - maybe if the
client is paying a paid preparer a small fee. But look at the
instructions - they're pretty good. JH

$900 monthly income. Can I get a fee waiver? I am not charging the
client and the credit counseling co. has agreed to waive their fees
as well.

signed by a judge first or do I file it at the same time as the
petition?
