Thanks Jim. I was out sick all last week and am not quite back to normal,
so I am still trying to respond to all that happened while I was away. My
Deerings CCP cites a 9th circ case which says that 351 is unconstitutional.
Abramson v. Brownstein, 897 F.2d 389, 1990. I have not read the case. Pat

To follow-up the discussion at CDCBAA on Saturday morning about the statute of limitations on collection of a debt, Pat Green asked for authority on two issues: 1) an acknowledgment of debt in writing extends the statute - see CCP 360; 2) the statute is tolled when the defendant resides outside of California - see CCP 351.
