I'm not aware of any case law guidance on B22C line 21, try including the above standard actual rent balance supported by a declaration regarding proximity to work/schools, length of time living at that location, cost to move, and comparable rents in the area.

IRS guidelines allow $200 per month on high mileage vehicles owned free and clear. I'm not aware of UST objections to this expense level.

Hi All-

When are additional amounts claimed on Line 21 ("housing and utilities adjustment")? I have a debtor who pays $1900 in rent and the difference between the actual rent amount and the allowed $1285 is exactly the amount of "disposable income" under the means test. Obviously, he cannot afford a 13 but is he out of luck for a 7 as well?

Also, he has two old cars, I believe the OUST would object to claiming two car owership expenses. Will they not? It's happened before...

Thanks in advance.
