Is a right of redemption personal property, or real
property?
In orther words skd a or skd b?
I suppose if I looked it up in Smith and Boyer, it
would say it is a right in real property so skd a.....

Subject: [cdcbaa] Out-of-state house in redemption period part of BK Estate
Prospective client lives and owns property in CA., but has an investment
prop. in Texas, which has been foreclosed, but is within the redemption
period under Texas law. Client has not redeemed. If a BK is filed in CA.,
would that Texas property be property of the estate just by virtue of the
redemption period not having expired? Or is it gone, now that it has been
foreclosed?
