Disputed claim on Schedule E

Mark it disputed. The IRS lawyers don't get upset
about it. A claim will be filed and you can recalc
the amount. If you really want to figure the amount
of the debt, you have to get a transcript, maybe a
bunch of them, as the IRS usually credits payments to
the oldest tax.

In a chap 7, debtorowes income taxes to IRS, and states amount claimed by IRS under "Amount of Claim", however it is not clear if this amount is accurate. What is the effect of marking the "disputed" column on Schedule E next to the amount of claim? I am concerned that simply listing the amount of the IRS' claim on Sched. E is admitting to the accuracy of the amount.
