Lien on a Real Property

A few years back, or maybe more like a decade, I believe there was a statute that basically required that if property profiles were available for free to real estate agents that the same service had to be offered to the public. So, I think you can call a title company and ask for a property profile and it should tell you who the lien holders are.

Most loan brokers have access to preliminary title reports from their title vendors. Generally these are free to the broker. If you have any friends who are real estate or loan brokers, they should be able to assist.

Many subscription services. If you want it free, call any broker you use and see if they subscribe.
