I represent an ex-wife of the debtor who has stiffed her on child/spousal
support for many many years and has even gone to jail for it. He filed Ch 7
bankruptcy just to spite her. We are trying to file a claim for as much as
she is owed because there are some assets.
Does anyone know if post-petition interest on domestic support obligations
get First Priority (after admin) ? I convinced the Trustee that
post-petition domestic support obligations were first priority. She is
arguing the interest is not.
