Mark,
I believe it is in the Local Rules that the U.S. Trustee's Office must be
served with all documents related to a Chapter 7 case but please get a
second/third opinion!

Per Local Rule 2002-2(a)(1), copies of all papers filed in all cases under chapters 7, 9 and 11 must be served on the UST. Per FRBP 1009(a), amended schedules need only be served on the Ch 7 Tee and any entity affected by the amendment (ie. ~ all creditors need not be served with amended schedules).
