To all members:
For all those of you who do not know her, I had my first hearing yesterday before Judge Jury. She is terrific. Even after four years (?) on the bench, she was kind to the pro pers who appeared before her. She engaged one of the attorneys in a discussion about the best means of accomplishing his client's objective -- even though the motion or the attorney had not even considered an alternative which she proposed during the hearing. She acknowledged that she had made a mistake in discussing a third case. She sees practical problems and tries to solve them, i.e. following Beezley while still fashioning an Order which specifically identifies the omitted creditor by name so that the debtor has something to show the creditor. She moved the calendar, but still found time to address each person's concerns.
I was very impressed, and told her so ... after my hearing was over. It was a refreshing experience.
